I don’t know about you, but when I bought my cell phone I had in mind to use it, to keep in touch with everybody. That’s why I choose the best mobile network I could get. Nope, that’s not Orange. And I shall tell you why. This is what has happened in Romania, in the last 2 days.
About 2 days ago, I tried to call a friend of mine, who’s on Orange. Guess what? The network was down. Well, I thought, must be a problem with his phone. Then I tried to call other two friends of mine, they are on Orange too. What happened? They weren’t available! No answer! I sent a message the second day . My friend got the message after about 4-5 hours.
Fortunately for me, I am a web person, so nothing can go by me without me knowing it. I talked to some friends (using messenger, of course) and many of them complained about the Orange network, which was down all day long. The thing is that they all had signal but could not use their phones to communicate.
You wonder why the Romanian media hasn’t said anything about this problem?
Is all the Romanian media corrupted?!
It’s not like Orange is just a small company. It’s the biggest mobile telecom in Romania! They advertise EVERYWHERE!
Yet they don’t bother about improving their infrastructure! They say they offer everything, but in the end you get nothing! How can you offer almost two DAYS of downtime to your clients?!
By the way, I was charged for calling my friends when the network was down. Should I ask for compensations?
